"Music of light"

June 17, 2012 in the temple of the holy Apostles Peter and Paul (Church of Jesuits on Teatralna street), with the support of Lviv City Council, took place the second concert of choir "Dudaryk" called " Music of light". Program of the concert was also built in chronological order to show the listners the development of Ukrainian Sacred Music. We started the concert by performing “Blahoslovy, dushe moya” by Kyrylo Stetsenko. The next featured compositions from irmolohion, and parts of the liturgy by Nicholas Dyletsky which was conducted by Dmytro Katsal. Then, under the direction of choirmaster of the men cast Nazar Lozynskyj we sang the hymn "Blazhen muzh" in the handling of Andrew Hnatyshyn, and choral concert number 3 "Hospody, syloyu tvoyeyu" by Dmytro Bortnianskyj. Beautifully sounded the choral concert of Maxim Berezovskyj «Unser Vater». Under the direction of choirmaster of the children cast Maryana Hyzha we performed Psalms of David number 1 "Blazhen muzh ..." by Marian Kuzan, and "Bozhe mij, nascho mene ty pokynuv" by Anna Havrylets. In the concluding of our performans we sang with all present in the church "Bozhe velykyj, yedynyj" by Alexander Koshyts, and "Mnohaya lita" by John Bilykovskyj. Performance was very good.
