Presentation of the monograph of People's Artist of Ukraine Nicholas Katsal "Garden of Songs"

June 8, 2012 in the auditorium of Lviv National University named by Ivan Franko was presented a monograph of  People's Artist of Ukraine, artistic director  of the chapel Nicholas Katsal "Garden of Songs", devoted to celebration of 40th anniversary of Lviv State Academic Male Choir "Dudaryk." Since the first choir’s rehearsal in Oct. 17, 1971, and until now, Nicholas Lukych gathered many memories, which were embodied in the texts and photographs of this book. The book is unique in its content - all that matters to the chapel, its founder and members, all the concerts, starting from the smallest village, and to the  numerous touring in America and Europe, all that found it’s place on the pages of the monograph: the history of important events in dates, a list of singers from all the years of the choir’s existence, about 1000 photos, generally more than 250 pages of stories and memories - the story of the first 40 years of activity of the choir "Dudaryk". Thank you to everyone who contributed to the creation of the book, including the former singers of "Dudaryk", the employees of choral school "Dudaryk" , and friends of the choir.
