Concert of choral music to 198 th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko

March 31, 2012 in the House of Organ and Chamber Music took place a concert of the choir "Dudaryk" to the 198th  anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko. The concert program consisted of compositions  by the words of the great poet. The concert started with the performing of"Testament" by N.Lysenko, where solo perfectly sang Nazar Lozynskyj. Elena Matselyukh was playing the organ. Then was a  premiere of "Psalms of David" by M.Kuzan which were conducted by the People's Artist of Ukraine Nicholas Katsal. The public perceived that composition very good. After that sounded compositions for men cast: cantata "John Huss" by N.Lysenko, "Ogni goryat " by I.Vorobkevych and "Utoptala stezhechku." Conducted Dmytro Katsal. Wonderful sounded cantata "Khustyna" by L. Revutskyj and choral concert number 2 "Vse upovaniye moye " by M.Volynskyj. At the end of the concert we performed the final of cantata "Radujsya nyvo nepolytaya " by N.Lysenko.
