"From Nicholas to John"

January 21, 2012 in the House of Organ and Chamber Music was held a Christmas concert of the choir "Dudaryk" with the title “From Nicholas to John”.  A lot of viewers gathered in the hall. At the beginning of the concert the Kontakion and Troparion of St. Nicholas were performed, and also the fragments from the "evening before  Christmas" by A. Hnoyovyj. The next one who came on stage were our friends from the v.Zbyranka who showed us a beautiful Nativity scene. Nicely surprised us a performance of the preparatory choir. After that the carol groups of    Nazar Lozynskyj, Dmytro Orenchuk  and Nazar Turhan were performing Christmas carols. Then we performed some traditional Christmas carols, which were conducted by Dmytro Katsal, and "Ukrainian mass" by Yurij Zakhozhyj - Katrenko, which was conducted by the National Artist of Ukraine Nicholas Katsal. And the solo part was perfectly sang by Natalka Polovynka, Antonina  Oganesyan, Nazar Lozynskyj and Nazar Omelchuk. With us also were performing the mass a girls' ensemble of the choir school. Accompanied by Elena Matselyukh (organ) and Tatiana Yurynets (keyboards). At the end of the concert sounded "Novorichna" by Igor Bilosir and "Play the song Jordan", after which the audience applauded standing.
